Cameroonian Dr. Georges Bwelle has been nominated to the top 10 2013 CNN Heroes. He is doing a wonderful job back home helping people in rural area get a better healthcare. Now, he needs your vote to become the CNN Hero of the year.
« To make people laugh, to reduce the pain, that’s why I’m doing this”. These words are from the Cameroonian Dr Georges Bwelle, who is one of the top 10 CNN Heroes this year. Since 2008, he and his team have provided free medical care to about 32,000 people in his native Cameroon. As you can see, his objective is to restore health to the sick people who can not afford health care.
President of Ascovime foundation whose purpose is to facilitate access to health and education in rural areas of Africa, especially of Cameroon, he stops in a landlocked town to perform medical procedures and distribute to the local population and school supplies.
