The English version of the comic book of Samuel Eto’o has just been published in London, to the delight of English fans. Drawn by Joelle Esso, the book was officially announced during a very popular press conference.
It is in the heart of London, at the trendy W Hotel (Piccadilly Circus / Leicerster square), where the Captain of the Indomitable Lions Samuel Eto’o Fils received the British press last September 9.
Despite the tiredness (he returned to the game-winning Cameroon1 Libya 0), he was accompanied by the co-author and illustrator of his biography in comics Joëlle Esso, when he lent itself with enthusiasm, humor and good humor to the game of very fast interviews.
To have the opportunity to discuss about the English version of this number 1 episode of his biography in 9 Volume : “The birth of the Champion” which recounts his childhood, the most prestigious media such as CNN, BBC, The Times, the Guardian… waited with patience and excitement their moment.
The new resident of Stanford Bridge, who will now wear the number 29, has never ceased to remember that all profits from the sale of the comic will be donated to the Samuel Eto’o Foundation, which helps children in need.
The British media have hailed this move, speaking of it like a “Prince”. Samuel and Joelle said they were “delighted” to be in London and to the welcome the British press made about comics.
