Wanda People, let me personnaly introduce you the nigerian R&B/Soul artist Joelschild based in Abuja. R&B fans will certainly love it. I know I fell in love. African talent right there !
Few months ago, we presented you Joelschild a bundle of talent wrapped in one body, a R&B/Soul artist, through his single “Forever (Dear Temi”). that already caught my attention. The Abuja based singer sure has what it takes to stand firm as an artist.
Joelschild has constantly churned out soul soothing love songs with his tender voice and well written lyrics. He remains unsigned to a record label, bent on pursuing his passion he has decided to release a four-song EP guaranteed to sweep you off your feet : Sade, Farabale, Pretty Woman, Let Me…
Sade and Farabale are more of mainstream R&B. Joelschild managed to give an african vibe to a very old school R&B feel in “Sade”. Perfect for “sex sessions” and conception. Pretty Woman has a soul feel to it more for cuddling, while Let Me is an acoustic rendition.
Sade, Farabale and Prettywoman were produced by Doktor Rex and Let Me was produced Atta Lennel.
To explain with references that most of you know, let’s say his music is a mix of a Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Miguel altogether, but with the naija touch that we love. And, on top that, Joelschild is also a choreographer for Urban Root an urban dance group.
This first EP is precious discovery that personnally totally satisfies my need of R&B and african music, both at the same time.
So, if you wanna listen to african R&B/Soul music, you’ll enjoy this EP for sure.
Good job Joelschild ! Keep up with the good job ! We WandaLuv it !
